Cafe Canna - Cookbook
After meeting Gareth (the chef/owner of Cafe Canna) in February 2023 as part of a project for Hidden Scotland, he told me about his upcoming cookbook that he was finishing writing. He asked if I would come back to spend some time capturing some imagery of the island and the restaurant to go alongside his write-up and recipe photos in the cookbook.
For Gareth, the island, the people of Canna and the produce from the island and the shores around are so integral to the Cafe and he wanted my photography to help tell that story in the cookbook. Here is a selection of some of my favourite photos from the project and my time on Canna with Gareth and his family.
